So clean


The Lever’s creative adverts had been influenced by the historical context.
In the end of 19th century the large-scale colour printing technology had developed a lot that enabled companies to use it for creating their advertisements.





At the same time pre-packaging technology had been developed that allowed businessmen to use packaging for advertising.

In the late 19th century an advertising boom had happened due to tax cuts on newspapers and paper. There was also a printing boom as a result of technological progress of reproduction and colour printing.



All these factors had caused the beginning of the new advertising era and allowed advertising to be creative.
